1. Policy
ABM has a zero-tolerance policy regarding offensive, obscene, vulgar, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or disrespectful language and behavior.
All drivers, crew members, officials, volunteers, sponsors, and participants are required to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all ABM events.
2. Prohibited Conduct
The use of obscene or offensive language, verbal abuse, harassment, threats, intimidation, discriminatory remarks, or offensive gestures directed toward another participant, official, staff member, volunteer, sponsor, or spectator is strictly prohibited.
This policy applies throughout the entire event, including the racing area, staging lanes, pits, paddock, spectator areas, award ceremonies, official meetings, and any ABM-related communication or social-media activity.
3. Disciplinary Action
Violations may result in immediate disciplinary action, including, but not limited to:
- Official warning
- Removal from the event
- Disqualification
- Loss of points, prizes, or awards
- Suspension from future ABM events; and/or
- Suspension or termination of ABM membership or racing privileges
4. Enforcement
ABM reserves the right to determine the appropriate disciplinary action based on the severity and circumstances of each violation. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate suspension or removal without prior warning.
5. General Conduct
ABM expects all participants to maintain a high standard of sportsmanship, professionalism, and respectful behavior at all times. Participants must not engage in conduct that is disruptive, aggressive, intimidating, threatening, abusive, unsportsmanlike, or otherwise inappropriate for an ABM event.
This includes, but is not limited to, verbal or physical confrontation, aggressive gestures, harassment, bullying, intimidation, deliberate provocation, fighting, damage to property, interference with event operations, refusal to follow reasonable instructions from ABM officials, or conduct that creates a safety concern.
Participants are responsible for their own conduct and may also be held accountable for the conduct of their crew members, team representatives, or guests where applicable.
ABM officials may intervene immediately when conduct is considered unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with these rules. Failure to comply with an instruction from an ABM official may constitute a separate violation and may result in additional disciplinary action.
Nothing in this policy limits ABM's ability to take immediate action when necessary to protect the safety, security, integrity, or orderly operation of an event.
6. Acknowledgement
By participating in an ABM event, all participants acknowledge and agree to comply with this Zero-Tolerance Policy.
